OUR MISSION is to provide community support through educational opportunities and hands-on workshops.
Our programs focus on pollinators and include beekeeping 101 classes, beekeeping workshops, and honey bee mentorship services. We also provide additional educational presentations and workshops for sites that offer programming such as Youth STEAM programs on bees and pollinators, Gardening for Bees, Unveiling the Mysteries of the Honey Bee, and more. At Keys to Bees, Inc., we are passionate about the essential role that honey bees play in preserving and cultivating our environment. When our founder, Tiffany Ayres, developed an interest in beekeeping as a hobby, she quickly realized the incredible impact that these bees have on our ecosystem. She knew she wanted to share that valuable information about key bee honey with others and began to expand her apiary to do just that.
As a Corporate Trainer and Master Beekeeper, Tiffany soon recognized the valuable lessons that could be learned from the honey bee. With an average of 50,000 individual bees, colonies work in harmony together; imagine if our corporations and organizations could do the same. This inspired the creation of the HoneyBee Concept Program (HBCP). See Business Services for a description of the unique business training opportunities.
In 2026, our Non-Profit was established to continue carrying out pollinator education, and Keys to Bees, Inc. continues to positively impact organizations across the region, spreading the unique life lessons of the honey bee.
Step into the surreal world of honey bee living with this EXPERIENCE from Bees Inc. We provide all the protective gear and a general honey bee lesson before we enter the colony. Then, under the expert guidance of a master beekeeper, we will crack the lid of a hive and meet the honey bee colony. If we are lucky, we may spot the queen and identify the workers and drones. At the conclusion of the 1.5-hour experience, participants will receive a jar of Key Bee Honey to commemorate their journey into the heart of the hive.
